Our morning begins at 10:00AM with elevenses overlooking the gallops, as Nicky’s string of racehorses work across the rolling Lambourn hills. From seasoned champions to the stable’s most exciting new prospects, you’ll witness the rhythm of a working yard in full flow – and gain a rare insight into the daily precision behind some of the sport’s greatest victories.
You’ll be personally welcomed by Nicky Henderson himself, and guided through his operation – meeting the horses, staff, and systems that have helped shape one of the most successful careers in British racing history.
About Nicky Henderson

Few figures in the world of jump racing command such enduring respect. With over 40 years in training, 6 Champion Trainer titles, and an extraordinary 73 Cheltenham Festival wins, Nicky’s name is synonymous with brilliance. His stable has produced icons like See You Then, Bobs Worth, Altior, Buveur d’Air, Shishkin, and most recently, the electrifying Constitution Hill – a horse many already consider the greatest hurdler of our time.
Still as passionate and hands-on as ever at 74, Nicky enters the 2025/26 season with a stable brimming with anticipation – a chance for our guests to glimpse not just the legends of the past, but the stars of the future.

Then, behind the scenes, the atmosphere shifts from spectacle to intimacy. You’ll walk through the same yard that’s produced champions for over four decades, stepping into the heartbeat of Seven Barrows. This is where instinct meets system, where detail is everything, and where Nicky’s quiet brilliance becomes unmistakably clear.

With characteristic ease, Nicky shares his perspective on each horse — what they’ve achieved, what’s to come, and how he brings them to their best.
